To improve employees' emergency response capabilities and promote knowledge of cardiovascular disease, NKY Pharma invited a professional medical team from People's Hospital of Bo'ai County to host a lively lecture on first aid and cardiovascular disease prevention at the factory.
NKY Pharma always prioritizes employee health and safety in its management. The risks of sudden illnesses and accidental injuries in work and life cannot be ignored, especially sudden cardiovascular diseases, which have become one of the main health threats in China.
This lecture aimed to enhance employees' self-rescue and mutual-rescue capabilities in emergency situations through guidance from a professional medical team, while also strengthening their scientific understanding and awareness of cardiovascular disease.
At the lecture, the volunteer expert team provided professional first aid knowledge explanations and on-site demonstrations, including CPR mannequins and the Heimlich maneuver. NKY employees actively participated, taking turns practicing on mannequins.
"I'd only ever seen CPR on TV before, and it seemed so far removed from my own experience," said a colleague who participated in the lecture. "After practicing it myself today, I realized these skills aren't difficult to learn, but they can truly save lives in critical moments."
